［Report］New Delhi Branch's Ikebana Workshop

The New Delhi branch of the Sogetsu School welcomed Ms. Ken Katayama, the Master Instructor of the Sogetsu Headquarters,  as an esteemed instructor for an engaging workshop held on November 23rd, 2023. Invited to conduct the event, Ms. Katayama shared his expertise with 22 eager participants. The workshop focused on the theme “Line, Color, and Mass,” a preview of the theme for the upcoming 100th Anniversary of the Sogetsu School. Demonstrating four exquisite Ikebana arrangements, each embodying the principles of Line, Color, and Mass, Mr. Katayama captivated the audience with his mastery. The interactive session empowered participants to create their own arrangements, guided and advised by the seasoned instructor. The workshop concluded as a resounding success, fostering a deeper appreciation for Ikebana’s artistry. Veena Dass, Director of the Sogetsu School in New Delhi, expressed her delight in his guidance.
