【Spring Exhibition】Philadelphia Mainline Study Group

Philadelphia Mainline Study Group had their spring exhibit at People’s Light & Theater Company on April 29.
Three members also maintained ikebana arrangements in the lobby during the production of Hold These Truths, about the internment of Japanese Americans in Arizona during WWII.

People’s Light and Theater was holding an event on April 29, 2022, to benefit the theater in honor of the artistic director who was retiring after 40 years of service in the development of the theater and its programming. Our study group offered to hold an exhibition during the benefit to expose an audience that would enjoy ikebana.
More than 160 people attended the reception and many commented on the stunning arrangements located throughout the event space.
We had participation of nearly half of our members who gave freely of their time and artistic abilities.
