【Spring Exhibition 】"The Coming of Spring"

From 3 to 6 March, the Shanghai Branch held its Spring Exhibition “The Coming of Spring” at One Museum Place, situated in the downtown of Shanghai.
Thirty members of the branch made full use of the skills and knowledge they had acquired through lessons to create works based on spring flower materials.
The main venue of the exhibition was a special space on the third floor of the building where 1 large-scale, 8 medium- sized and 15 small-sized works were displayed.
In addition, 1 large work was displayed at the entrance on the first floor, and 4 medium-sized works were displayed in the lift halls on the first and second floors.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the wife of the Consul General of Japan and other distinguished guests, as well as several members of the media.
From the second day onwards, many people came to see the exhibition despite the rainy and unpleasant weather. the media also took the exhibition favorably.
We are delighted that our exhibition turned to be a good opportunity to promote Sogetsu Ikebana in Shanghai.
