During one of the strictest lockdown of the world, the Mumbai Branch, India, worked to help those who were in need.

In the 1st Phase on 6th May, they distributed food packets containing grains, oil, tea, sugar and other commodities personally to 150 Families in the Mumbai Slums. The Needy Families were very Thankful as they were jobless and had no means of food.

In the 2nd Phase on 14th May, they contributed in the ‘Feed  the Migrant Workers’ project which was after the announcement of the 21-day lockdown to the families of the distressed migrant laborers who wanted to return back to their native places.
These  workers faced multiple hardships and due to no work and loss of income and food shortages, many of them went hungry and began walking back home for miles and miles with no means of transport due to the lockdown.
They extended a helping hand by providing cooked food, water, healthcare and concern to these stranded workers.  This was organized and done near the Maharashtra border near Yavatmal.

In the 3rd Phase 20th June ,they distributed Personal Protective Equipment(PPE).
Most of the designated  hospitals in Mumbai are getting overloaded by patients while facing an extreme shortage of Personal Protective Equipment(PPE).
One such Hospital is the St. George’s Government Hospital in Mumbai where the Mumbai Sogetsu Ikebana Branch distributed 175 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for the hospital doctors and staff.
They also donated a big size television for the emotional wellbeing and mental stimulation and to uplift the moods of the patients.
