Expressing Our Joyful Feelings with Flowers

The early summer Sogetsu Exhibition has followed a musical theme, beginning withPrelude, then progressing throughSonataandScherzo.
This time, I am delighted to present its continuation under the elegant and graceful titleMinuet.
With just two years remaining until the 100th anniversary of the Sogetsu School, exclusive events are already taking shape not only at the headquarters but also in the groups across Japan and overseas. In harmony with this dynamic momentum, I look forward to seeing lively and powerful works that resonate with the spirit of this celebration.I happily encourage you to boldly take on the challenge of ikebana that connects, moves, and nurtures the heart.
In addition to free-style arrangements, a particular point of this exhibition is”Focusing on the Uses of Water”.As Sofuonce said,”Incorporating water into the Ikebana is part of the Sogetsu style”. Creations that highlight the beauty and presence of water are especially fitting for the early summer season.
I eagerly await your floral expressions, filled with lighthearted joy and vibrant energy.
