Ikebanist : Tanko Matsuzaki

Tanko Matsuzaki(Instructor of the Sogetsu)
Enthralled by the rugged allure of Quercus aliena 'Lutea' leaves, I eagerly set to the task of composing this arrangement with Spray mum and Great burnet. Despite its sturdy facade, however, the limited water uptake capability of Quercus aliena 'Lutea' caught my attention, sparking worries about the arrangement's durability. I earnestly hope for its longevity. On a positive note, selecting a vase crafted by Mr. Yutaka Nakamura filled me with immense satisfaction.
