In the Japanese room on the fifth floor of the Sogetsu Kaikan, seasonal ikebana works are constantly on display for public view.

I stretched out the Enkianthus perulatus with fresh green leaves to capture the feeling of the season. I paid particular attention to showcasing the soft texture and unique form of Misako Aratani's ceramic vase. I also added a creative touch to the composition by lightly finishing the rim of the vase.
