“The Everyone’s Sogetsu Ikebana Exhibition” is a unique program that takes place on Facebook where anyone is able to participate regardless of their qualifications, as long as they learn Sogetsu Ikebana or love Sogetsu Ikebana .
For our 9th exhibition, we put the special theme, “”Ikebana at home!”
By the outbreak of OCID-19, our normal life is disturbed and many of us are forced to stay home, to stay safe. Now it is time to turn our eyes to our own nest and have a try to make the best of it.
This time again, we are greatly looking forward to receiving applications from all around the world.
Any applications from children are also more than welcome.
You can try to win the Ikeru-chan Prize!

Theme
"Ikebana at home!"
Why don’t you place flowers in your rooms while you spend a lot of time at home?
e.g.
- Ikebana for comforting, refreshing, and practicing at home
- Ikebana as a part of children’s learning and play
- Ikebana created with children
- Ikebana displayed in a space in your house
- Ikebana you would like to place in some spot of your house
- Ikebana with materials from your garden
- Ikebana that incorporates daily necessities and kitchen miscellaneous items as vases or materials
- Ikebana that incorporates vegetables and foods as ingredients
We are looking for works out of everyday life and full of your fresh ideas. Make your daily life enjoyable with your work!

Q.What is different from the previous exhibitions?

- The work will be posted in about one week from the application
It’s a real-time update that you can always find your favorite work and ideas that will help you in your daily life!
Judging will be conducted on all works after the application period ends. - Up to 3 works per person
Only this time, the same author can apply for three works.
Please try to take on something new!
Applications can be submitted in bulk or individually.
However, since the works will be posted in the order in which they were submitted, it is not possible to group them together on Facebook.

Please place your hand-carved Sekisatsu or nameplate next to your work so that your name can be identified.
2. Enter the necessary information into the body of your email.

Due to the impact of the spread of new COVID-19 infection on international mail, we are currently suspending the sending of the supplementary prize for the 8th Facebook Minna Ikebana Exhibition both in Japan and overseas.
