Iemoto will create an ikebana object on the stage
National Theatre (Large Theatre) May 2021 Dance Performance "Two Microcosms -A Moment of Encounter-"
National Theatre (Large Theatre)
22 May 2021 [Sat]
Themed on “Encounter,” this performance explores bodily expression – from the perspective of the harmony and confrontation of tradition and modernity – through the collaboration of National Theatre and Arts Council Tokyo. Our life has been heavily affected by Covid-19. Yet even amidst these challenges, we present these two new pieces in anticipation of the pleasure of meeting with each other again through theatrical performances.
In “Henge(Incarnation) and a Human” –The Legend of Hagoromo–, Iemoto Akane Teshigahara will be in charge of the art and will create ikebana objects on the stage.
Please enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime performance woven by various encounters commingling with each other.
