Application for the 2024 Sogetsu Excellence Award
Starting in 2024, the "Sogetsu Exhibition Award" will be renamed the "Sogetsu Excellence Award" and is now accessible to all STA members (individual and private groups) in Japan as well as overseas, on an entry system!
So please feel free to share your daily activities and works of art with everyone!
We are looking forward to receiving many entries!
What is the Sogetsu Excellence Award?
The Sogetsu Excellence Award is a recognition that honors the efforts and achievements of individuals and groups in their Sogetsu Ikebana activities. Multiple recipients of the Sogetsu Excellence Award will be selected by the Iemoto from among the entries. Among these, one will be chosen for the most excellent Award, which will be presented during the “Flower Appreciation Day” ceremony in March 2025. All submitted entries will be featured on Instagram as part of the Sogetsu Excellence Award activities.

Eligibility for Entry
Events or works, such as exhibitions or other activities, carried out by individuals or groups between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024 are eligible for entry. (Note: Branches and Study Groups are not eligible.)
How to Apply
1.Download the Entry Form: Please click here. and fill out the entry form. The information you provide will be posted in the comments section on Instagram. For reference, take a look at previous posts on Instagram. （The maximum number of characters allowed is 1,900.）
3.Submit Your Application: Send the completed entry form and media files via email to the Overseas Section at overseas@sogetsu.or.jp.
Deadline for Submission
Entries must be received by Friday, December 20, 2024, at 23:59 (Japan Standard Time).
