Heading toward a bright future of Sogetsu

The Osaka Branch Exhibition was held at the Osaka Art Club, a temple of art, established in 1910 during the Meiji Era.

Heading toward a bright future of Sogetsu which will celebrate the centennial, the exhibition featured the works of young ikebana artists.
An array of powerful works were displayed including those by old hands.
Another attractive area was the innovative special exhibition titled “Arranging flowers in XXX: Using a container other than a vase” and “Arranging colors: Expressing contrasting colors in the hue circle.”

Continued on from the previous branch exhibition, reliefs using lead were also displayed on the venue walls encircling the ikebana works.
The building with a quiet atmosphere showing a chic taste of Semba, Osaka embraced the creative beauty of Sogetsu in a perfect manner.
Visitors stopped frequently to appreciate each work carefully at the venue designed with wit.
